JCK Show a success for Sarin Technologies’ consumer confidence equipment | |
|
Sarin Technologies, a world leading developer of technological solutions for the diamond industry, says the 2007 JCK Show—Las Vegas, June 1-5, was one of its most successful ever. The company’s success at the show was largely due to its emphasis on three machines that are aimed at enhancing consumer confidence in diamonds.
Sarin displayed the simple-to-operate, portable systems to a wide range of diamond industry company representatives, as well as leading members of the trade press, and was impressed with the positive feedback. The machines provide verification within seconds of the cut quality and color grades of diamonds, as well as a simple and cost-effective means of laser inscribing of certificate numbers, brand logos, and personal messages on the girdle.
“We believed the machines would be well-received, but it was good to see the strong positive response from people throughout the diamond and jewelry industry – from traders, wholesalers and retailers through to leading journalists,” said Udi Lederer, Sarin’s VP Marketing. “The issue of strengthening consumer confidence was one that struck a chord with everyone who saw the machines and visited our booth. It is widely recognized as a vital issue for our industry, and our equipment is seen to address these areas.”
The machines include DiaScan™ S+, Sarin’s portable diamond cut quality and grading machine enabling today’s jewelry retailer to provide in-store and on-the-counter tools for verifying diamond cut quality using the leading gem labs’ latest grading standards; the DC3000™, a diamond colorimeter for color grading loose and mounted diamonds; and the DiaScribe™ inscription package, a laser inscription tool that meets security, branding, and personalization needs by giving the user the ability to inscribe almost any text or logo on the girdle of the stone.
“Resolving consumer confidence issues is crucial. Our state-of-the-art technology provides simple-to-use solutions, and we decided to showcase them this year.” Lederer added.
